Anolytech – Cleantech Company of the year
At Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day earlier this autumn, it was announced that this year’s Cleantech Company of the Year was awarded to Swedish Anolytech, winning the title and the prize sum of 100 000 Swedish crowns.
Anolytech has developed a device for on-site production of disinfection solution using just water, ordinary salt and electricity, without the risk of bacteria developing resistance. This is used mainly for automatic dosing into animal water supply. The jury’s justification for the award stated “Anolytech AB has created an innovative application that solves a global problem in the agricultural industry. The product replaces old technology that is both poisonous and dangerous. The company is growing rapidly and is directed against a promising market. The product is scalable and has great potential to be used in other markets. Anolytech AB’s CEO, Catherine Ehrensvärd, is a convincing and strong entrepreneur.”
Anylotech was founded in 2009 and since then almost 100 installations have been made over two continents. In April 2012 Anolytech signed a contract valued at SEK 70-100 million with Chick Master, one of the world’s largest suppliers of equipment for the poultry industry, operating in over 30 countries.
