MetGen among top cleantech companies
Finnish MetGen has been named in the 2013 Global Cleantech top 100 list.
“It has been an exciting year for our company. We completed an investment round with some of the leading investors in our industry; we improved the performance of our enzymes significantly and have completed industrial trials with various partners. Today’s Global Cleantech 100 announcement confirms that we address unmet industry needs and that we are on the right track,” commented Alex Michine, CEO of Metgen.
This year, 5864 companies were nominated this year from 60 countries. The list recognizes the world’s top cleantech companies to make the biggest market impact over the next 5-10 years and is produced by Cleantech Group. The list is derived from Cleantech Group’s own data and research, combined with judgments of hundreds of nominations as well as the viewpoints of a global 90-person Expert Panel. To qualify for the list, companies must be independent, profitable, cleantech companies that are not listed on any major stock exchange.
