Rosengård Invest sells Ikaros Cleantech to Manutan Group
Investment company Rosengård Invest sells its holding Ikaros Cleantech to French Manutan Group.
Based in Malmö, Sweden, Ikaros Cleantech was founded in 1993 and has since supplied the Swedish and Finnish markets with environmental protection products such as for retention, absorption and storage of hazardous products and waste collection. Customers are mainly within the manufacturing industry. The company was one of the first companies that Rosengård Invest acquired. In 2012, the firm had revenues of 138 million SEK.
“Rosengård Invest has had the ambition to be a long-term owner and has contributed to Ikaros Cleantech’s stable development through invested capital and competence. The firm is now ready to take the next step by entering into a group that creates further possibilities for development,” said Ljubo Mrnjavac, CEO at Rosengård Invest.
Through the acquisition of Ikaros Cleantech Manutan will broaden its activities in Scandinavia where firm is already established under the trademark Witre.
