Our Eco City projects are displayed in China’s Domus Green magazine.
All three of Tengbom Eriksson Architects Ltd’s Eco City projects have been prominently displayed in Green magazine(03/2013), published by Domus publishing house in China.
The article lists the 30 best-known Chinese Eco City projects. Proudly presented as the first on the list is Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco City International Invitational competition, where our entry was proved to be as highly qualified as all other five entries in 2009.
Kunming Chenggong New City Area can also be found at the top. In this project, on Patrick Eriksson’s initiative, it was decided to develop an ecological and low-carbon eco-city area in China. Together with his team, Eriksson developed a new Master Plan for the area which now stands proudly alongside Tianjin as one of the eight first eco-cities of China.
Mentougou Eco Valley (2010) is also included on the Domus list, although it is mentioned that the area development was later tendered publicly in China. Tengbom Sweden’s project Sino Swedish Eco City in Wuxi (2011) is also featured near the top of the list.
