New Residential Buildings in Eastern Helsinki
Two of our important housing sites will be completed now in eastern Helsinki:
Viitankruununtie was designed for Helsinki Housing Production Department (ATT) in the Mellunkylä’s Linnanpelto area. The residents have already moved in the 58 apartments in the block’s row and detached houses. There is a pleasant passage, guided by the between differently colored facades. On the street side, the look is light, inside the block dark brick walls and bright accent colors characterize to the environment.
Also a new block house was completed in the Linnanpelto, where residents can meet both in daily and in special occasions. The house has two meeting spaces with service facilities. There is a little playing field behind the house, and we hope that the house is popular also among, children and teenagers.
Work in Myllypuro Wooden Urban village continues. The second quarter has also been completed and residents have already settled in their homes . The quarter consists of 13 apartments. The design is based on our winning proposal in Helsinki City’s competition. All buildings are of different, warm shades of brown and yellow. Detached homes in the surrounding blocks within the main yard and the fresh area. The next construction phase, is already under construction next to the two existing quarters. Once ready, the eight-block area will contain about 120 apartments.
